Prime Electronics introduces its next generation of Electronic Battery Discharger Range.  Model EBD601M is very versatile device and is used for checking performance of all types of Batteries. It can discharge Battery of 2Volt @120 Amp rate, 6Volt @100 Amp rate, 12Volt @50 Amp rate, 24Volt @25 Amp rate, 36Volt @16 Amp rate and 48Volt @12 Amp rate. In between voltage and lower discharge current can be set as per Battery voltage and Ah. Batteries can be discharged in Constant Current or Constant Power mode. Discharge current can be precisely set from the front panel with multiturn pot. Battery voltage and discharge current is constantly displayed on front panel with DPMs. Total power being supplied by the battery can be seen by simply sliding a switch. Its compact size and light weight makes it very convent to carry it for discharge of batteries in the field.

Different type of Batteries such as SMF, Lead Acid, Tabular, GEL, AGM, VRLA, Ni-Cd, NI-MH, Stionery, and Traction Power can be checked using this Electronic Battery Discharger. EBD 601 M operates from 230 Vac. It can also be supplied with 110 Vac Line voltage facility.

Electronic Battery Discharger Model EBD 601 is also available in programmable version. Model EBD 601 P (Programmable) has provision to set Final Voltage in Voltage Mode or Discharge time in Timer Mode. It is very useful in R & D labs or inward inspection departments.

Electronic Battery Discharger EBD 301 with 300 W of discharge rate, EBD 1201 with 1200 W Discharge rate and EBD 1801 with 1800 W Discharge rate, is also available with similar features and specifications.
